“Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty,” John Ruskin.
Being aware of what we put on our body is just as important as what we put into our body. Using natural, paraben, chemical and alcohol free products that aren’t tested on animals, is something we should seek to do. After all, our body is our temple and we only have one for this lifetime. If you purchase products online and in store, make a habit of reading the labels, or better still make your own!
What you need
Salt/Sugar – Himalayan salt or brown sugar (the coarser the grain the more you will scrub away!)
Oil – Organic almond or grape seed oil work well. Adding in a couple of teaspoons of organic coconut oil will give the scrub an extra nourishing effect. This is ideal if you have run out of body moisturiser!
Essential oil – Fragrance is a very personal preference. Perhaps you would rather none, however, to invigorate go for lemon. To calm add lavender. To ignite some Venus beauty pop in some ylang-ylang. Or be adventurous, and add a mixture of some of your favourite essential oils. Stella loves combining a few drops each of musk, geranium, ylang-ylang and jasmine.

Prior to the scrub, loofah your skin while it is dry.
With bare hands or wearing exfoliating mittens, rub the scrub in circular motions over your entire body. Be gentle, especially around the face and under the eyes as well as the neck and décolletage.
